1The sons of Levi: Gedson, Caath, and Merari.Υἱοὶ Λευὶ, Γεδσὼν, Καὰθ, καὶ Μεραρί.

2And the sons of Caath; Ambram, and Issaar, Chebron, and Oziel.Καὶ ταῦτα τὰ ὀνόματα τῶν υἱῶν Γεδσὼν, Λοβενὶ, καὶ Σεμεΐ.

3And the sons of Ambram; Aaron, and Moses, and Mariam: and the sons of Aaron; Nadab, and Abiud, Eleazar, and Ithamar.Υἱοὶ Καὰθ, Ἄμβραμ, καὶ Ἰσσαὰρ, Χεβρὼν, καὶ Ὀζιήλ.

4Eleazar begot Phinees, Phinees begot Abisu;Υἱοὶ Μεραρὶ, Μοολὶ, καὶ ὁ Μουσί· καὶ αὗται αἱ πατριαὶ τοῦ Λευὶ κατὰ πατριὰς αὐτῶν.

5Abisu begot Bokki, and Bokki begot Ozi;Τῷ Γεδσὼν, τῷ Λοβενὶ υἱῷ αὐτοῦ, Ἰὲθ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ, Ζαμμὰθ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ,

6Ozi begot Zaraia, Zaraia begot Mariel;Ἰωὰβ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ, Ἀδδὶ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ, Ζαρὰ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ, Ἰεθρὶ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ.

7and Mariel begot Amaria, and Amaria begot Achitob;Υἱοὶ Καὰθ, Ἀμιναδὰβ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ, Κορὲ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ, Ἀσὴρ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ,

8and Achitob begot Sadoc, and Sadoc begot Achimaas;Ἑλκανὰ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ, Ἀβισὰφ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ, Ἀσὴρ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ,

9and Achimaas begot Azarias, and Azarias begot Joanan;Θαὰθ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ, Οὐριὴλ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ, Ὀζία υἱὸς αὐτοῦ, Σαοὺλ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ.

10and Joanan begot Azarias: he ministered as priest in the house which Solomon built in Jerusalem.Καὶ υἱοὶ Ἑλκανὰ, Ἀμεσσὶ, καὶ Ἀχιμὼθ,

11And Azarias begot Amaria, and Amaria begot Achitob;Ἑλκανὰ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ, Σουφὶ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ, Καιναὰθ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ,

12and Achitob begot Sadoc, and Sadoc begot Salom;Ἐλιὰβ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ, Ιεροβοὰμ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ, Ἑλκανὰ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ.

13and Salom begot Chelcias, and Chelcias begot Azarias;Υἱοὶ Σαμουὴλ, ὁ πρωτότοκος Σανὶ, καὶ Ἀβιά.

14and Azarias begot Saraia, and Saraias begot Josadac.Υἱοὶ Μεραρὶ, Μοολὶ, Λοβενὶ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ, Σεμεῒ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ, Ὀζὰ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ,

15And Josadac went into captivity with Juda and Jerusalem under Nabuchodonosor.Σαμαὰ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ, Ἀγγία υἱὸς αὐτοῦ, Ἀσαῒας υἱὸς αὐτοῦ.

16The sons of Levi: Gedson, Caath, and Merari.Καὶ οὗτοι οὓς κατέστησε Δαυὶδ ἐπὶ χεῖρας ᾀδόντων ἐν οἴκῳ Κυρίου ἐν τῇ καταπαύσει τῆς κιβωτοῦ.

17And these are the names of the sons of Gedson; Lobeni, and Semei.Καὶ ἦσαν λειτουργοῦντες ἐναντίον τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου ἐν ὀργάνοις, ἕως οὗ ᾠκοδόμησε Σαλωμὼν τὸν οἶκον Κυρίου ἐν Ἱερουσαλήμ· καὶ ἔστησαν κατὰ τὴν κρίσιν αὐτῶν ἐπὶ τὰς λειτουργίας αὐτῶν.

18The sons of Caath; Ambram, and Issaar, Chebron, and Oziel.Καὶ οὗτοι οἱ ἑστηκότες, καὶ υἱοὶ αὐτῶν ἐκ τῶν υἱῶν τοῦ Καὰθ, Αἰμὰν ὁ ψαλτῳδὸς υἱὸς Ἰωὴλ, υἱοῦ Σαμουὴλ,

19The sons of Merari; Mooli and Musi: and these are the families of Levi, according to their families.υἱοῦ Ἑλκανὰ, υἱοῦ Ἱεροβοὰμ, υἱοῦ Ἐλιὴλ, υἱοῦ Θοοὺ,

20To Gedson—to Lobeni his son—were born Jeth his son, Zammath his son,υἱοῦ Σοὺφ, υἱοῦ Ἑλκανὰ, υἱοῦ Μαὰθ, υἱοῦ Ἀμαθὶ,

21Joab his son, Addi his son, Zara his son, Jethri his son.υἱοῦ Ἑλκανὰ, υἱοῦ Ἰωὴλ, υἱοῦ Ἀζαρία, υἱοῦ Σαφανία,

22The sons of Caath; Aminadab his son, Core his son, Aser his son;υἱοῦ Θαὰθ, υἱοῦ Ἀσὴρ, υἱοῦ Ἀβιασὰφ, υἱοῦ Κορὲ,

23Helcana his son, Abisaph his son, Aser his son:υἱοῦ Ἰσαὰρ, υἱοῦ Καὰθ, υἱοῦ Λευὶ, υἱοῦ Ἰσραήλ.

24Thaath his son, Uriel his son, Ozia his son, Saul his son.Καὶ ὁ ἀδελφὸς αὐτοῦ Ἀσὰρ ὁ ἑστηκὼς ἐν δεξιᾷ αὐτοῦ· Ἀσὰρ υἱὸς Βαραχία, υἱοῦ Σαμαὰ,

25And the sons of Helcana; Amessi, and Achimoth.υἱοῦ Μιχαὴλ, υἱοῦ Βαασία, υἱοῦ Μελχία,

26Helcana his son, Suphi his son, Cainaath his son;υἱοῦ Ἀθανὶ, υἱοῦ Ζααραῒ, υἱοῦ Ἀδαῒ,

27Eliab his son, Jeroboam his son, Helcana his son.υἱοῦ Αἰθὰμ, υἱοῦ Ζαμμὰμ, υἱοῦ Σεμεῒ,

28The sons of Samuel; the firstborn Sani, and Abia.υἱοῦ Ἰεὲθ, υἱοῦ Γεδσὼν, υἱοῦ Λευί.

29The sons of Merari; Mooli, Lobeni his son, Semei his son, Oza his son;Καὶ υἱοὶ Μεραρὶ οἱ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτῶν ἐξ ἀριστερῶν· Αἰθὰμ υἱὸς Κισὰ, υἱοῦ Ἀβαῒ, υἱοῦ Μαλῶχ,

30Samaa his son, Angia his son, Asaias his son.υἱοῦ Ἀσεβὶ, υἱοῦ Ἀμεσσία,

31And these were the men whom David set over the service of the singers in the house of the Lord when the ark was at rest.υἱοῦ Βανὶ, υἱοῦ Σεμὴρ,

32And they ministered in front of the tabernacle of witness playing on instruments, until Solomon built the house of the Lord in Jerusalem; and they stood according to their order for their services.υἱοῦ Μοολὶ, υἱοῦ Μουσὶ, υἱοῦ Μεραρὶ, υἱοῦ Λευί.

33And these were the men that stood, and their sons, of the sons of Caath: Aeman the psalm singer, son of Joel, the son of Samuel,Καὶ οἱ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτῶν κατʼ οἴκους πατριῶν αὐτῶν, οἱ Λευῖται οἱ δεδομένοι εἰς πᾶσαν ἐργασίαν λειτουργίας σκηνῆς οἴκου τοῦ Θεοῦ.

34the son of Helcana, the son of Jeroboam, the son of Eliel, the son of Thoas,Καὶ Ἀαρὼν καὶ υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ θυμιῶντες ἐπὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον τῶν ὁλοκαυτωμάτων, καὶ ἐπὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον τῶν θυμιαμάτων εἰς πᾶσαν ἐργασίαν ἅγια τῶν ἁγίων, καὶ ἐξιλάσκεσθαι περὶ Ἰσραὴλ, κατὰ πάντα ὅσα ἐνετείλατο Μωυσῆς παῖς τοῦ Θεοῦ.

35the son of Suph, the son of Helcana, the son of Maath, the son of Amathi,Καὶ οὗτοι υἱοὶ Ἀαρών· Ἐλεάζαρ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ, Φινεὲς υἱὸς αὐτοῦ, Ἀβισοὺ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ,

36the son of Helcana, the son of Joel, the son of Azarias, the son of Japhanias,Βοκκὶ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ, Ὀζὶ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ, Σαραῒα υἱὸς αὐτοῦ,

37the son of Thaath, the son of Aser, the son of Abiasaph, the son of Core,Μαριὴλ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ, Ἀμαρία υἱὸς αὐτοῦ, Ἀχιτὼβ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ,

38the son of Isaar, the son of Caath, the son of Levi, the son of Israel.Σαδὼκ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ, Ἀχιμάας υἱὸς αὐτοῦ.

39And his brother Asaph, who stood at his right hand; Asaph the son of Barachias, the son of Samaa,Καὶ αὗται αἱ κατοικίαι αὐτῶν ἐν ταῖς κώμαις αὐτῶν, ἐν τοῖς ὁρίοις αὐτῶν, τοῖς υἱοῖς Ἀαρὼν τῇ πατριᾷ αὐτῶν τοῖς Κααθὶ, ὅτι αὐτοῖς ἐγένετο ὁ κλῆρος.

40the son of Michael, the son of Baasia, the son of Melchia,Καὶ ἔδωκαν αὐτοῖς τὴν Χεβρὼν ἐν γῇ Ἰούδα, καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς κύκλῳ αὐτῆς.

41the son of Athani, the son of Zaarai,Καὶ τὰ πεδία τῆς πόλεως, καὶ τὰς κώμας αὐτῆς ἔδωκαν τῷ Χαλὲβ υἱῷ Ἰεφοννή.

42the son of Adai, the son of Aetham, the son of Zammam, the son of Semei,Καὶ τοῖς υἱοῖς Ἀαρὼν ἔδωκαν τὰς πόλεις τῶν φυγαδευτηρίων, τὴν Χεβρὼν, καὶ τὴν Λοβνὰ καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς, καὶ τὴν Σελνὰ καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς, καὶ τὴν Ἐσθαμὼ καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς,

43the son of Jeeth, the son of Gedson, the son of Levi.καὶ τὴν Ἰεθὰρ καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς, καὶ τὴν Δαβὶρ καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς,

44And the sons of Merari their brethren on the left hand: Aetham the son of Kisa, the son of Abai, the son of Maloch,καὶ τὴν Ἀσὰν καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς, καὶ τὴν Βαιθσαμὺς καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς·

45the son of Asebi,Καὶ ἐκ φυλῆς Βενιαμὶν τὴν Γαβαῒ καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς, καὶ τὴν Γαλεμὰθ καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς, καὶ τὴν Ἀναθὼθ καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς· πᾶσαι αἱ πόλεις αὐτῶν τρισκαίδεκα πόλεις κατὰ πατριὰς αὐτῶν.

46the son of Amessias, the son of Bani, the son of Semer,Καὶ τοῖς υἱοῖς Καὰθ τοῖς καταλοίποις ἐκ τῶν πατριῶν ἐκ τῆς φυλῆς ἐκ τοῦ ἡμίσους φυλῆς Μανασσῆ, κλήρῳ πόλεις δέκα.

47the son of Mooli, the son of Musi, the son of Merari, the son of Levi.Καὶ τοῖς υἱοῖς Γεδσὼν κατὰ πατριὰς αὐτῶν ἐκ φυλῆς Ἰσσάχαρ, ἐκ φυλῆς Ἀσὴρ, ἀπὸ φυλῆς Νεφθαλὶ, ἐκ φυλῆς Μανασσῆ ἐν τῇ Βασὰν, πόλεις τρισκαίδεκα.

48And their brethren according to the houses of their fathers, were the Levites who were appointed to all the work of ministration of the tabernacle of the house of God.Καὶ τοῖς υἱοῖς Μεραρὶ κατὰ πατριὰς αὐτῶν ἐκ φυλῆς Ῥουβὴν, ἐκ φυλῆς Γὰδ, ἐκ φυλῆς Ζαβουλὼν, κλήρῳ πόλεις δεκαδύο.

49And Aaron and his sons were to burn incense on the altar of whole burnt offerings, and on the altar of incense, for all the ministry in the holy of holies, and to make atonement for Israel, according to all things that Moses the servant of the Lord commanded.Καὶ ἔδωκαν οἱ υἱοὶ Ἰσραὴλ τοῖς Λευίταις τὰς πόλεις καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῶν.

50And these are the sons of Aaron; Eleazar his son, Phinees his son, Abisu his son,Καὶ ἔδωκαν ἐν κλήρῳ ἐκ φυλῆς υἱῶν Ἰούδα, καὶ ἐκ φυλῆς υἱῶν Συμεὼν, καὶ ἐκ φυλῆς υἱῶν Βενιαμὶν τὰς πόλεις ταύτας ἃς ἐκάλεσαν αὐτὰς ἐπʼ ὀνόματος.

51Bokki his son, Ozi his son, Saraia his son,Καὶ ἀπὸ τῶν πατριῶν υἱῶν Καὰθ, καὶ ἐγένοντο πόλεις τῶν ὁρίων αὐτῶν ἐκ φυλῆς Ἐφραίμ.

52Mariel his son, Amaria his son, Achitob his son,Καὶ ἔδωκαν αὐτοῖς τὰς πόλεις τῶν φυγαδευτηρίων, τὴν Συχὲμ καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς ἐν ὄρει Ἐφραὶμ, καὶ τὴν Γαζὲρ καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς,

53Sadoc his son, Achimaas his son.καὶ τὴν Ἰεκμαὰν καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς, καὶ τὴν Βαιθωρὼν καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς,

54And these are their residences in their villages, in their coasts, to the sons of Aaron, to their family the Caathites: for they had the lot.καὶ τὴν Αἰλὼν καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς, καὶ τὴν Γεθρεμμὼν καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς·

55And they gave them Chebron in the land of Juda, and its suburbs round about it.Καὶ ἀπὸ τοῦ ἡμίσους φυλῆς Μανασσῆ τὴν Ἀνὰρ καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς, καὶ τὴν Ἰεμβλάαν καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς, κατὰ πατριὰν τοῖς υἱοῖς Καὰθ τοῖς καταλοίποις.

56But the fields of the city, and its villages, they gave to Chaleb the son of Jephonne.Τοῖς υἱοῖς Γεδσὼν ἀπὸ πατριῶν ἡμίσους φυλῆς Μανασσῆ τὴν Γωλὰν ἐκ τῆς Βασὰν καὶ τὰ περιπόλια αὐτῆς, καὶ τὴν Ἀσηρὼθ καὶ τὰ περιπόλια αὐτῆς·

57And to the sons of Aaron they gave the cities of refuge, even Chebron, and Lobna and her suburbs round about, and Selna and her suburbs, and Esthamo and her suburbs,Καὶ ἐκ φυλῆς Ἰσσάχαρ τὴν Κέδες καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς, καὶ τὴν Δεβερὶ καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς, καὶ τὴν Δαβὼρ καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς,

58and Jethar and her suburbs, and Dabir and her suburbs,καὶ τὴν Ῥαμὼθ, καὶ τὴν Αἰνὰν καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς.

59and Asan and her suburbs, and Baethsamys and her suburbs:Καὶ ἐκ φυλῆς Ἀσὴρ τὴν Μαασὰλ καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς, καὶ τὴν Ἀβδὼν καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς,

60and of the tribe of Benjamin Gabai and her suburbs, and Galemath and her suburbs, and Anathoth and her suburbs: all their cities were thirteen cities according to their families.καὶ τὴν Ἀκὰκ καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς, καὶ τὴν Ῥοὼβ καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς·

61And to the sons of Caath that were left of their families, there were given out of the tribe, namely, out of the half-tribe of Manasse, by lot, ten cities.Καὶ ἀπὸ φυλῆς Νεφθαλὶ τὴν Κέδες ἐν τῇ Γαλιλαίᾳ καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς, καὶ τὴν Χαμὼθ καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς, καὶ τὴν Καριαθαῒμ καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς.

62And to the sons of Gedson according to their families there were given thirteen cities of the tribe of Issachar, of the tribe of Aser, of the tribe of Nephthali, of the tribe of Manasse in Basan.Τοῖς υἱοῖς Μεραρὶ τοῖς καταλοίποις ἐκ φυλῆς Ζαβουλὼν τὴν Ῥεμμὼν καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς, καὶ τὴν Θαβὼρ καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς,

63And to the sons of Merari according to their families there were given, by lot, twelve cities of the tribe of Ruben, of the tribe of Gad, and of the tribe of Zabulon.ἐκ τοῦ πέραν τοῦ Ἰορδάνου τὴν Ἱεριχὼ κατὰ δυσμὰς τοῦ Ἰορδάνου· ἐκ φυλῆς Ῥουβὴν τὴν Βοσὸρ ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς, καὶ τὴν Ἰασὰ καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς,

64So the children of Israel gave to the Levites the cities and their suburbs.καὶ τὴν Καδμὼθ καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς, καὶ τὴν Μαεφλὰ καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς·

65And they gave by lot out of the tribe of the children of Juda, and out of the tribe of the children of Symeon, and out of the tribe of the children of Benjamin, these cities which they call by name.Ἐκ φυλῆς Γὰδ τὴν Ῥαμμὼθ Γαλαὰδ καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς, καὶ τὴν Μααναῒμ καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς,

66And to the members of the families of the sons of Caath there were also given the cities of their borders out of the tribe of Ephraim.καὶ τὴν Ἐσεβὼν καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς, καὶ τὴν Ἰαζὴρ καὶ τὰ περισπόρια αὐτῆς.

67And they gave them the cities of refuge, Sychem and her suburbs in mount Ephraim, and Gazer and her suburbs,

68and Jecmaan and her suburbs, and Baethoron and her suburbs,

69and Aelon and her suburbs, and Gethremmon and her suburbs:

70and of the half-tribe of Manasse Anar and her suburbs, and Jemblaan and her suburbs, to the sons of Caath that were left, according to each several family.

71To the sons of Gedson from the families of the half-tribe of Manasse they gave Golan of Basan and her suburbs, and Aseroth and her suburbs.

72And out of the tribe of Issachar, Kedes and her suburbs, and Deberi and her suburbs, and Dabor and her suburbs,

73and Ramoth, and Aenan and her suburbs.

74And of the tribe of Aser; Maasal and her suburbs, and Abdon and her suburbs,

75and Acac and her suburbs, and Roob and her suburbs.

76And of the tribe of Nephthali; Kedes in Galilee and her suburbs, and Chamoth and her suburbs, and Kariathaim and her suburbs.

77To the sons of Merari that were left, they gave out of the tribe of Zabulon Remmon and her suburbs, and Thabor and her suburbs:

78out of the country beyond Jordan; Jericho westward of Jordan: out of the tribe of Ruben; Bosor in the wilderness and her suburbs, and Jasa and her suburbs,

79and Kadmoth and her suburbs, and Maephla and her suburbs.

80Out of the tribe of Gad; Rammoth Galaad and her suburbs, and Maanaim and her suburbs,

81and Esebon and her suburbs, and Jazer and her suburbs.
