Jezekiel 16
Moreover the word of the Lord came to me, saying,Καὶ ἐγένετο λόγος Κυρίου πρὸς μὲ, λέγων,
Son of man, testify to Jerusalem of her iniquities;υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου, διαμάρτυραι τῇ Ἱερουσαλὴμ τὰς ἀνομίας αὐτῆς,
and you shall say, Thus says the Lord to Jerusalem; Your root and your birth are of the land of Chanaan: your father was an Amorite, and your mother a Chettite.καὶ ἐρεῖς, Τάδε λέγει Κύριος τῇ Ἱερουσαλὴμ, ἡ ῥίζα σου καὶ ἡ γένεσίς σου ἐκ γῆς Χαναάν· ὁ πατήρ σου Ἀμοῤῥαῖος, καὶ ἡ μήτηρ σου Χετταία.
And as for your birth in the day wherein you were born, you did not bind your breasts, and you were not washed in water, neither was you salted with salt, neither was you swathed in swaddling-bands.Καὶ ἡ γένεσίς σου ἐν ᾗ ἡμέρᾳ ἐτέχθης, οὐκ ἔδησας τοὺς μαστοὺς σου, καὶ ἐν ὕδατι οὐκ ἐλούσθης, οὐδὲ ἁλὶ ἡλίσθης, καὶ ἐν σπαργάνοις οὐκ ἐσπαργανώθης,
Nor did my eye pity you, to do for you one of all these things, to feel at all for you; but you were cast out on the face of the field, because of the deformity of your person, in the day wherein you were born.οὐδὲ ἐφείσατο ὁ ὀφθαλμός μου ἐπὶ σοὶ, τοῦ ποιῆσαί σοι ἓν ἐκ πάντων τούτων, τοῦ παθεῖν τι ἐπὶ σοί· καὶ ἀπεῤῥίφης ἐπὶ πρόσωπον τοῦ πεδίου τῇ σκολιότητι τῆς ψυχῆς σου ἐν ἡμέρᾳ ᾗ ἐτέχθης.
And I passed by to you, and saw you polluted in your blood; and I said to you, Let there be life out of your blood:Καὶ διῆλθον ἐπὶ σὲ, καὶ ἴδον σε πεφυρμένην ἐν τῷ αἵματί σου· καὶ εἶπά σοι, ἐκ τοῦ αἵματός σου ζωὴ,
increase; I have made you as the springing grass of the field. So you did increase and grow, and did enter into great cities: your breasts were set, and your hair grew, whereas you were naked and bare.πληθύνου, καθὼς ἡ ἀνατολὴ τοῦ ἀγροῦ δέδωκά σε· καὶ ἐπληθύνθης καὶ ἐμεγαλύνθης, καὶ εἰσῆλθες εἰς πόλεις πόλεων· οἱ μαστοί σου ἀνωρθώθησαν, καὶ ἡ θρίξ σου ἀνέτειλε· σὺ δὲ ἦσθα γυμνὴ καὶ ἀσχημονοῦσα.
And I passed by you and saw you, and, behold, it was your time and a time of resting; and I spread my wings over you, and covered your shame, and swear to you: and I entered into covenant with you, says the Lord, and you became mine.Καὶ διῆλθον διὰ σοῦ, καὶ ἴδον σε· καὶ ἰδοὺ καιρός σου, καὶ καιρὸς καταλυόντων· καὶ διεπέτασα τὰς πτέρυγάς μου ἐπὶ σὲ, καὶ ἐκάλυψα τὴν ἀσχημοσύνην σου, καὶ ὤμοσά σοι· καὶ εἰσῆλθον ἐν διαθήκῃ μετὰ σοῦ, λέγει Κύριος· καὶ ἐγένου μοι.
And I washed you in water, and washed your blood from you, and anointed you with oil.Καὶ ἔλουσά σε ἐν ὕδατι, καὶ ἀπέπλυνα τὸ αἷμά σου ἀπὸ σοῦ, καὶ ἔχρισά σε ἐν ἐλαίῳ.
And I clothed you with embroidered garments, and clothed you beneath with purple, and girded you with fine linen, and clothed you with silk,Καὶ ἐνέδυσά σε ποικίλα, καὶ ὑπέδυσά σε ὑάκινθον· καὶ ἔζωσά σε βύσσῳ καὶ περιέβαλόν σε τριχαπτῳ,
and decked you also with ornaments, and put bracelets on your hands, and a necklace on your neck.καὶ ἐκόσμησά σε κόσμῳ, καὶ περιέθηκα ψέλλια περὶ τὰς χεῖράς σου, καὶ κάθεμα περὶ τὸν τράχηλόν σου·
And I put a pendant on your nostril, and rings in your ears, and a crown of glory on your head.Καὶ ἔδωκα ἐνώτιον περὶ τὸν μυκτῆρά σου, καὶ τροχίσκους ἐπὶ τὰ ὦτά σου, καὶ στέφανον καυχήσεως ἐπὶ τὴν κεφαλήν σου·
So you were adorned with gold and silver; and your raiment was of fine linen, and silk, and variegated work: you did eat fine flour, and oil, and honey, and did become extremely beautiful.Καὶ ἐκοσμήθης χρυσίῳ καὶ ἀργυρίῳ, καὶ τὰ περιβόλαιά σου βύσσινα, καὶ τριχαπτὰ, καὶ ποικίλα· σεμίδαλιν καὶ ἔλαιον καὶ μέλι ἔφαγες, καὶ ἐγένου καλὴ σφόδρα.
And your name went forth among the nations for your beauty: because it was perfected with elegance, and in the comeliness which I put upon you, says the Lord.Καὶ ἐξῆλθέ σου ὄνομα ἐν τοῖς ἔθνεσιν ἐν τῷ κάλλει σου, διότι συντετελεσμένον ἦν ἐν εὐπρεπείᾳ ἐν τῇ ὡραιότητι ᾗ ἔταξα ἐπὶ σὲ, λέγει Κύριος.
You did trust in your beauty, and did go a-whoring because of your renown, and did pour out your fornication on every passer by.Κατεπεποίθεις ἐν τῷ κάλλει σου, καὶ ἐπόρνευσας ἐπὶ τῷ ὀνόματί σου, καὶ ἐξέχεας τὴν πορνείαν σου ἐπὶ πάντα πάροδον·
And you did take of your garments, and made to yourself idols of needlework, and did go a-whoring after them; therefore you shall never come in, nor shall the like take place.Καὶ ἔλαβες ἐκ τῶν ἱματίων σου, καὶ ἐποίησας σεαυτῇ εἴδωλα ῥαπτὰ, καὶ ἐξεπόρνευσας ἐπʼ αὐτὰ, καὶ οὐ μὴ εἰσέλθῃς οὐδὲ μὴ γένηται.
And you took your fair ornaments of my gold and of my silver, of what I gave you, and you made to yourself male images, and you did commit whoredom with them.Καὶ ἔλαβες τὰ σκεύη τῆς καυχήσεώς σου ἐκ τοῦ χρυσίου μου καὶ ἐκ τοῦ ἀργυρίου μου, ἐξ ὧν ἔδωκά σοι, καὶ ἐποίησας σεαυτῇ εἰκόνας ἀρσενικὰς, καὶ ἐξεπόρνευσας ἐν αὐταῖς.
And you did take your variegated apparel and did clothe them, and you did set before them my oil and my incense.Καὶ ἔλαβες τὸν ἱματισμὸν τὸν ποικίλον σου, καὶ περιέβαλες αὐτὰς, καὶ τὸ ἔλαιόν μου καὶ τὸ θυμίαμά μου ἔθηκας πρὸ προσώπου αὐτῶν.
And you took my bread which I gave you, (yes I fed you with fine flour and oil and honey) and did set them before them for a sweet smelling savor: yes, it was so, says the Lord.Καὶ τοὺς ἄρτοὺς μου οὓς ἔδωκά σοι, σεμίδαλιν καὶ ἔλαιον καὶ μέλι ἐψώμισά σε, καὶ ἔθηκας αὐτὰ τρὸ τροσώπου αὐτῶν εἰς ὀσμὴν εὐωδίας· καὶ ἐγένετο, λέγει Κύριος.
And you took your sons and your daughters, whom you bore, and did sacrifice these to them to be destroyed. You did go a-whoring as if that were little,Καὶ ἔλαβες τοὺς υἱούς σου καὶ τὰς θυγατέρας σου ἃς ἐγέννησας, καὶ ἔθυσας αὐτοῖς εἰς ἀνάλωσιν· ὡς μικρὰ ἐξεπόρνευσας,
and did kill your children, and gave them up in offering them to them for an expiation.καὶ ἔσφαξας τὰ τέκνα σου, καὶ ἔδωκας αὐτὰ ἐν τῷ ἀποτροπιάζεσθαί σε αὐτὰ αὐτοῖς·
This is beyond all your fornication, and you did not remember your infancy, when you were naked and bare, and did live though defiled in your blood.Τοῦτο παρὰ πᾶσαν τὴν πορνείαν σου, καὶ οὐκ ἐμνήσθης τῆς νηπιότητός σου, ὅτε ἦσθα γυμνὴ καὶ ἀσχημονοῦσα, πεφυρμένη ἐν τῷ αἵματί σου ἔζησας.
And it came to pass after all your wickedness, says the Lord,Καὶ ἐγένετο μετὰ πάσας τὰς κακίας σου, λέγει Κύριος,
that you did build yourself a house of fornication, and did make yourself a public place in every street;καὶ ᾠκοδόμησας σεαυτῇ οἴκημα πορνικὸν, καὶ ἐποίησας σεαυτῇ ἔκθεμα ἐν πάσῃ πλατείᾳ,
and on the head of every way you did set up your fornications, and did defile your beauty, and did open your feet to every passer by, and did multiply your fornication.καὶ ἐπʼ ἀρχῆς πάσης ὁδοῦ ᾠκοδόμησας τὰ πορνεῖά σου, καὶ ἐλυμῄνω τὸ κάλλος σου· καὶ διήγαγες τὰ σκέλη σου παντὶ παρόδῳ καὶ ἐπλήθυνας τὴν πορνείαν σου,
And you did go a-whoring after the children of Egypt your neighbors, great of flesh; and did go a-whoring, often to provoke me to anger.καὶ ἐξεπόρνευσας ἐπὶ τοὺς υἱοὺς Αἰγύπτου τοὺς ὁμοροῦντάς σοι τοὺς μεγαλοσάρκους, καὶ πολλαχῶς ἐξεπόρνευσας τοῦ παροργίσαι με.
And if I stretch out my hand against you, then will I abolish your statutes, and deliver you up to the wills of them that hate you, even to the daughters of the Philistines that turned you aside from the way wherein you sinned.Ἐὰν δὲ ἐκτείνω τὴν χεῖρά μου ἐπὶ σὲ, καὶ ἐξαρῶ τὰ νόμιμά σου, καὶ παραδώσω εἰς ψυχὰς μισούντων σε, θυγατέρας ἀλλοφύλων τὰς ἐκκλινούσας σε ἐκ τῆς ὁδοῦ σου ἧς ἠσέβησας.
And you did go a-whoring to the daughters of Assur, and not even thus was you satisfied; yes, you did go a-whoring, and was not satisfied.Καὶ ἐξεπόρνευσας ἐπὶ τὰς θυγατέρας Ἀσσοὺρ, καὶ οὐδʼ οὕτως ἐνεπλήσθης, καὶ ἐξεπόρνευσας καὶ οὐκ ἐνεπίπλω.
And you did multiply your covenants with the land of the Chaldeans; and not even with these was you satisfied.Καὶ ἐπλήθυνας τὰς διαθήκας σου πρὸς γῆν Χαλδαίων, καὶ οὐδε ἐν τούτοις ἐνεπλήσθης.
Why should I make a covenant with your daughter, says the Lord, while you do all these things, the works of a harlot? and you have gone a-whoring in a threefold degree with your daughters.Τί διαθῶ τὴν θυγατέρα σου, λέγει Κύριος, ἐν τῷ ποιῆσαί σε πάντα ταῦτα ἔργα γυναικὸς πόρνης; καὶ ἐξεπόρνευσας τρισσῶς ἐν ταῖς θυγατράσι σου·
You have built a house of harlotry in every top of a way, and have set up your high place in every street; and you did become as a harlot gathering hires.Τὸ πορνεῖον ᾠκοδόμησας ἐν πάσῃ ἀρχῇ ὁδοῦ, καὶ τὴν βάσιν σου ἐποίησας ἐν πάσῃ πλατείᾳ· καὶ ἐγένου ὡς πόρνη συνάγουσα μισθώματα.
An adulteress resembles you, taking rewards of her husband.Ἡ γυνὴ ἡ μοιχωμένη ὁμοία σοι, παρὰ τοῦ ἀνδρὸς αὐτῆς λαμβάνουσα μισθώματα, πᾶσι τοῖς ἐκπορνεύσασαιν αὐτὴν προσεδίδου μισθώματα·
She has even given rewards to all that went a-whoring after her, and you have given rewards to all your lovers, yes, you did load them with rewards, that they should come to you from every side for your fornication.καὶ σὺ δέδωκας μισθώματα πᾶσι τοῖς ἐρασταῖς σου, καὶ ἐφόρτιζες αὐτοὺς τοῦ ἔρχεσθαι πρὸς σὲ κυκλόθεν ἐν τῇ πορνείᾳ σου.
And there has happened in you perverseness in your fornication beyond other women, and they have committed fornication with you, in that you give hires over and above, and hires were not given to you; and thus perverseness happened in you.Καὶ ἐγένετο ἐν σοὶ διεστραμμένον παρὰ τὰς γυναῖκας ἐν τῇ πορνείᾳ σου, καὶ μετὰ σοῦ πεπορνεύκασιν, ἐν τῷ προσδιδόναι σε μισθώματα, καὶ σοὶ μισθώματα οὐκ ἐδόθη, καὶ ἐγένετο ἐν σοὶ διεστραμμένα.
Therefore, harlot, hear the word of the Lord:Διατοῦτο πόρνη ἄκουε λόγον Κυρίου.
Thus says the Lord, Because you have poured forth your money, therefore your shame shall be revealed in your harlotry with your lovers, and with regard to all the imaginations of your iniquities, and for the blood of your children which you have given to them.Τάδε λέγει Κύριος, ἀνθʼ ὧν ἐξέχεας τὸν χαλκόν σου, καὶ ἀποκαλυφθήσεται ἡ αἰσχύνη σου ἐν τῇ πορνείᾳ σου πρὸς τοὺς ἐραστάς σου, καὶ εἰς πάντα τὰ ἐνθυμήματα τῶν ἀνομιῶν σου, καὶ ἐν τοῖς αἵμασι τῶν τέκνων σου ὧν ἔδωκας αὐτοῖς·
Therefore, behold, I will gather all your lovers with whom you have consorted, and all whom you have loved, with all whom you did hate; and I will gather them against you round about, and will expose your wickedness to them, and they shall see all your shame.Διατοῦτο ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἐπισυνάγω πάντας τοὺς ἐραστάς σου ἐν οἷς ἐπεμίγης ἐν αὐτοῖς, καὶ πάντας οὓς ἠλάπησας, σὺν πᾶσιν οἷς ἐμίσεις, καὶ συνάξω αὐτοὺς ἐπὶ σὲ κυκλόθεν, καὶ ἀποκαλύψω τὰς κακίας σου πρὸς αὐτούς, καὶ ὄψονται πᾶσαν τὴν αἰσχύνην σου,
And I will be avenged on you with the vengeance of an adulteress, and I will bring upon you blood of fury and jealousy.καὶ ἐκδικήσω σε ἐκδικήσει μοιχαλίδος, καὶ θήσω σε ἐν αἵματι θυμοῦ καὶ ζήλου.
And I will deliver you into their hands, and they shall break down your house of harlotry, and destroy your high place; and they shall strip you of your garments, and shall take your proud ornaments, and leave you naked and bare.Καὶ παραδώσω σε εἰς χεῖρας αὐτῶν, καὶ κατασκάψουσι τὸ πορνεῖόν σου, καὶ καθελοῦσι τὴν βάσιν σου, καὶ ἐκδύσουσί σε τὰ ἱμάτιά σου, καὶ λήψονται τὰ σκεύη τῆς καυχήσεώς σου· καὶ ἀφήσουσί σε γυμνὴν, καὶ ἀσχημονοῦσαν.
And they shall bring multitudes upon you, and they shall stone you with stones, and pierce you with their swords.Καὶ ἄξουσιν ἐπὶ σὲ ὄχλους, καὶ λιθοβολήσουσί σε ἐν λίθοις, καὶ κατασφάξουσί σε ἐν τοῖς ξίφεσιν αὐτῶν.
And they shall burn your houses with fire, and shall execute vengeance on you in the sight of many women: and I will turn you back from harlotry, and I will no more give you rewards.Καὶ ἐυπρήσουσι τοὺς οἴκους σου πυρὶ, καὶ ποιήσουσιν ἐν σοὶ ἐκδικήσεις ἐνώπιον γυναικῶν πολλῶν· καὶ ἀποστρέψω σε ἐκ πορνείας, καὶ μισθώματα οὐ μὴ δώσω οὐκέτι.
So will I slacken my fury against you, and my jealousy shall be removed from you, and I will rest, and be no more careful for you.Καὶ ἐπαφήσω τὸν θυμόν μου ἐπὶ σὲ, καὶ ἐξαρθήσεται ὁ ζῆλός μου ἐκ σοῦ· καὶ ἀναπαύσομαι, καὶ οὐ μὴ μεριμνήσω οὐκέτι.
Because you did not remember your infancy, and you did grieve me in all these things; therefore, behold, I have recompensed your ways upon your head, says the Lord: for thus have you wrought ungodliness above all your other iniquities.Ἀνθʼ ὧν οὐκ ἐμνήσθης τῆς νηπιότητός σου, καὶ ἐλύπεις με ἐν πᾶσι τούτοις· καὶ ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ τὰς ὁδούς σου εἰς κεφαλήν σου δέδωκα, λέγει Κύριος· καὶ οὕτως ἐποίησας τὴν ἀσέβειαν ἐπὶ πάσαις ταῖς ἀνομίαις σου.
These are all the things they have spoken against you in a proverb, saying,Ταῦτά ἐστι πάντα ὅσα εἶπαν κατὰ σοῦ ἐν παραβολῇ, λέγοντες, καθὼς ἡ μήτηρ,
As is the mother, so is your mother's daughter: you are she that has rejected her husband and her children; and the sisters of your sisters have rejected their husbands and their children: your mother was a Chettite, and your father an Amorite.καὶ ἡ θυγάτηρ θυγάτηρ τῆς μητρός σου· σὺ εἶ ἡ ἀπωσαμένη τὸν ἄνδρα αὐτῆς καὶ τὰ τέκνα αὐτῆς, καὶ ἀδελφαὶ τῶν ἀδελφῶν σου αἱ ἀπωσάμεναι τοὺς ἄνδρας αὐτῶν καὶ τὰ τέκνα αὐτῶν· ἡ μήτηρ ὑμῶν Χετταία, καὶ ὁ πατὴρ Ἀμοῤῥαῖος.
Your elder sister who dwells on your left hand is Samaria, she and her daughters: and your younger sister, that dwells on the right hand, is Sodom and her daughters.Ἡ ἀδελφὴ ὑμῶν ἡ πρεσβυτέρα Σαμάρεια, αὐτὴ καὶ αἱ θυγατέρες αὐτῆς, ἡ κατοικοῦσα ἐξ εὐωνύμων σου· καὶ ἡ ἀδελφή σου ἡ νεωτέρα σου, ἡ κατοικοῦσα ἐκ δεξιῶν σου, Σόδομα καὶ αἱ θυγατέρες αὐτῆς.
Yet notwithstanding you have not walked in their ways, neither have you done according to their iniquities within a little, but you have exceeded them in all your ways.Καὶ οὐδʼ ὡς ἐν ταῖς ὁδοῖς αὐτῶν ἐπορεύθης, οὐδὲ κατὰ τὰς ἀνομίας αὐτῶν ἐποίησας παρὰ μικρὸν, καὶ ὑπέρκεισαι αὐτὰς ἐν πάσαις ταῖς ὁδοῖς σου.
As I live, says the Lord, this Sodom and her daughters have not done as you and your daughters have done.Ζῶ ἐγὼ, λέγει Κύριος, εἰ πεποίηκε Σόδομα αὕτη καὶ αἱ θυγατέρες αὐτῆς, ὃν τρόπον ἐποίησας σὺ καὶ αἱ θυγατέρες σου.
Moreover this was the sin of your sister Sodom, pride: she and her daughters lived in pleasure, in fullness of bread and in abundance: this belonged to her and her daughters, and they helped not the hand of the poor and needy.Πλὴν τοῦτο τὸ ἀνόμημα Σοδόμων τῆς ἀδελφῆς σου, ὑπερηφανία, ἐν πλησμονῇ ἄρτων καὶ ἐν εὐθηνίᾳ ἐσπατάλων αὕτη καὶ αἱ θυγατέρες αὐτῆς· τοῦτο ὑπῆρχεν αὐτῇ καὶ ταῖς θυγατράσιν αὐτῆς, καὶ χεῖρα πτωχοῦ καὶ πένητος οὐκ ἀντελαμβάνοντο.
And they boasted, and wrought iniquities before me: so I cut them off as I saw fit.Καὶ ἐμεγαλαύχουν, καὶ ἐποίησαν ἀνομήματα ἐνώπιον ἐμοῦ· καὶ ἐξῇρα αὐτὰς καθὼς ἴδον.
Also Samaria has not sinned according to half of your sins; but you have multiplied your iniquities beyond them, and you have justified your sisters in all your iniquities which you have committed.Καὶ Σαμάρεια κατὰ τὰς ἡμίσεις τῶν ἁμαρτιῶν σου οὐχ ἥμαρτε· καὶ ἐπλήθυνας τὰς ἀνομίας σου ὑπὲρ αὐτὰς, καὶ ἐδικαίωσας τὰς ἀδελφάς σου ἐν πάσαις ταῖς ἀνομίαις σου αἷς ἐποίησας.
You therefore bear your punishment, for that you have corrupted your sisters by your sins which you have committed beyond them; and you have made them appear more righteous than yourself: you therefore be ashamed, and bear your dishonor, in that you have justified your sisters.Καὶ σὺ κόμισαι βάσανόν σου, ἐν ᾗ ἔφθειρας τὰς ἀδελφάς σου ἐν ταῖς ἁμαρτίαις σου αἷς ἠνόμησας ὑπὲρ αὐτὰς, καὶ ἐδικαίωσας αὐτὰς ὑπὲρ σεαυτήν· καὶ σὺ αἰσχύνθητι, καὶ λάβε τὴν ἀτιμίαν σου ἐν τῷ δικαιῶσαί σε τὰς ἀδελφάς σου.
And I will turn their captivity, even the captivity of Sodom and her daughters; and I will turn the captivity of Samaria and her daughters; and I will turn your captivity in the midst of them:Καὶ ἀποστρέψω τὰς ἀποστροφὰς αὐτῶν, τὴν ἀποστροφὴν Σοδόμων καὶ τῶν θυγατέρων αὐτῆς· καὶ ἀποστρέψω τὴν ἀποστροφὴν Σαμαρείας καὶ τῶν θυγατέρων αὐτῆς· καὶ ἀποστρέψω τὴν ἀποστροφήν σου ἐν μέσῳ αὐτῶν·
that you may bear your punishment, and be dishonored for all that you have done in provoking me to anger.Ὅπως κομίσῃ τὴν βάσανόν σου, καὶ ἀτιμωθήσῃ ἐκ πάντων ὧν ἐποίησας ἐν τῷ παροργίσαι με.
And your sister Sodom and her daughters shall be restored as they were at the beginning, and you and your daughters shall be restored as you were at the beginning.Καὶ ἡ ἀδελφή σου Σόδομα καὶ αἱ θυγατέρες αὐτῆς ἀποκατασταθήσονται καθὼς ἦσαν ἀπʼ ἀρχῆς· καὶ σὺ καὶ αἱ θυγατέρες σου ἀποκατασταθήσεσθε καθὼς ἀπʼ ἀρχῆς ἦτε.
And surely your sister Sodom was not mentioned by your mouth in the days of your pride:Καὶ εἰ μὴ ἦν Σόδομα ἡ ἀδελφή σου εἰς ἀκοὴν ἐν τῷ στόματί σου ἐν ταῖς ἡμέραις ὑπερηφανίας σου·
before your wickedness was revealed, even now you are the reproach of the daughters of Syria, and of all that are round about her, even of the daughters of the Philistines that compass you round about.πρὸ τοῦ ἀποκαλυφθῆναι τὰς κακίας σου, ὃν τρόπον νῦν ὄνειδος εἶ θυγατέρων Συρίας, καὶ πάντων τῶν κύκλῳ αὐτῆς θυγατέρων ἀλλοφύλων τῶν περιεχουσῶν σε κύκλῳ.
As for your ungodliness and your iniquities, you have borne them, says the Lord.Τὰς ἀσεβείας σου καὶ τὰς ἀνομίας σου σὺ κεκόμισαι αὐτὰς, λέγει Κύριος.
Thus says the Lord; I will even do to you as you have done, as you have dealt shamefully in these things to transgress my covenant.Τάδε λέγει Κύριος, καὶ ποιήσω ἐν σοὶ καθὼς ἐποίησας, ὡς ἠτίμωσας ταῦτα τοῦ παραβῆναι τὴν διαθήκην μου.
And I will remember my covenant made with you in the days of your infancy, and I will establish to you an everlasting covenant.Καὶ μνησθήσομαι ἐγὼ τῆς διαθήκης μου τῆς μετὰ σοῦ ἐν ἡμέραις νηπιότητός σου, καὶ ἀναστήσω σοι διαθήκην αἰώνιον.
Then you shall remember your way, and shall be utterly dishonored when you receive your elder sisters with your younger ones: and I will give them to you for building up, but not by your covenant.Καὶ μνησθήσῃ τὴν ὁδόν σου, καὶ ἐξατιμωθήσῃ ἐν τῷ ἀναλαβεῖν σε τὰς ἀδελφάς σου τὰς πρεσβυτέρας σου σὺν ταῖς νεωτέραις σου, καὶ δώσω αὐτάς σοι εἰς οἰκοδομὴν, καὶ οὐκ ἐκ διαθήκης σου.
And I will establish my covenant with you; and you shall know that I am the Lord:Καὶ ἀναστήσω ἐγὼ τὴν διαθήκην μου μετὰ σοῦ, καὶ ἐπιγνῶσῃ ὅτι ἐγὼ Κύριος·
that you may remember, and be ashamed, and may no more be able to open your mouth for your shame, when I am reconciled to you for all that you have done, says the Lord.Ὅπως μνησθῇς καὶ αἰσχυνθῇς, καὶ μὴ ᾖ σοι ἔτι ἀνοῖξαι τὸ στόμα σου ἀπὸ προσώπου τῆς ἀτιμίας σου, ἐν τῷ ἐξιλάσκεσθαί με σοὶ κατὰ πάντα ὅσα ἐποίησας, λέγει Κύριος.
