Jezekiel 25

1And the word of the Lord came to me, saying,Καὶ ἐγένετο λόγος Κυρίου πρὸς μὲ, λέγων,

2Son of man, set your face steadfastly against the children of Ammon, and prophesy against them;υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου, στήρισον τὸ πρόσωπόν σου ἐπὶ τοὺς υἱοὺς Ἀμμὼν, καὶ προφήτευσον ἐπʼ αὐτοὺς,

3and you shall say to the children of Ammon, Hear you the word of the Lord; thus says the Lord; Forasmuch as you have rejoiced against my sanctuary, because it was profaned; and against the land of Israel, because it was laid waste; and against the house of Juda, because they went into captivity;καὶ ἐρεῖς τοῖς υἱοῖς Ἀμμὼν, Ἀκούσατε λόγον Κυρίου· τάδε λέγει Κύριος, ἀνθʼ ὧν ἐπεχάρητε ἐπὶ τὰ ἅγιά μου, ὅτι ἐβεβηλώθη, καὶ ἐπὶ τὴν γῆν τοῦ Ἰσραὴλ, ὅτι ἠφανίσθη, καὶ ἐπὶ τὸν οἶκον τοῦ Ἰούδα, ὅτι ἐπορεύθησαν ἐν αἰχμαλωσίᾳ,

4therefore, behold, I will deliver you to the children of Kedem for an inheritance, and they shall lodge in you with their stuff, and they shall pitch their tents in you: they shall eat your fruits, and they shall drink your milk.διατοῦτο ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ παραδίδωμι ὑμᾶς τοῖς υἱοῖς Κεδὲμ εἰς κληρονομίαν, καὶ κατασκηνώσουσιν ἐν τῇ ἀπαρτίᾳ αὐτῶν ἐν σοὶ, καὶ δώσουσιν ἐν σοὶ τὰ σκηνώματα αὐτῶν· αὐτοὶ φάγονται τοὺς καρπούς σου, καὶ αὐτοὶ πίονται τὴν πιότητά σου.

5And I will give up the city of Ammon for camels' pastures, and the children of Ammon for a pasture of sheep: and you shall know that I am the Lord.Καὶ δώσω τὴν πόλιν τοῦ Ἀμμὼν εἰς νομὰς καμήλων, καὶ τοὺς υἱοὺς Ἀμμὼν εἰς νομὴν προβάτων, καὶ ἐπιγνώσεσθε διότι ἐγὼ Κύριος.

6For thus says the Lord; Because you have clapped your hands, and stamped with your foot, and heartily rejoiced against the land of Israel;Διότι τάδε λέγει Κύριος, ἀνθʼ ὧν ἐκρότησας τὴν χεῖρά σου, καὶ ἐψόφησας τῷ ποδί σου, καὶ ἐπέχαρας ἐκ ψυχῆς σου ἐπὶ τὴν γῆν τοῦ Ἰσραὴλ,

7therefore I will stretch out my hand against you, and I will make you a spoil to the nations; and I will utterly destroy you from among the peoples, and I will completely cut you off from out of the countries: and you shall know that I am the Lord.διατοῦτο ἐκτενῶ τὴν χεῖρά μου ἐπὶ σὲ, καὶ δώσω σε εἰς διαρπαγὴν ἐν τοῖς ἔθνεσι, καὶ ἐξολεθρεύσω σε ἐκ τῶν λαῶν, καὶ ἀπολῶ σε ἐκ τῶν χωρῶν ἀπωλείᾳ, καὶ ἐπιγνώσῃ διότι ἐγὼ Κύριος.

8Thus says the Lord; Because Moab has said, Behold, are not the house of Israel and Juda like all the other nations?Τάδε λέγει Κύριος, ἀνθʼ ὧν εἶπε Μωάβ, ἰδοὺ, οὐχ ὃν τρόπον πάντα τὰ ἔθνη, οἶκος Ἰσραὴλ καὶ Ἰούδα;

9Therefore, behold, I will weaken the shoulder of Moab from his frontier cities, even the choice land, the house of Bethasimuth above the fountain of the city, by the sea-side.Διατοῦτο ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ παραλύω τὸν ὦμον Μωάβ ἀπὸ πόλεων ἀκρωτηρίων αὐτοῦ, ἐκλεκτὴν γῆν, οἶκον Βεθασιμούθ ἐπάνω πηγῆς πόλεως παραθαλασσίας,

10I have given him the children of Kedem in addition to the children of Ammon for an inheritance, that there may be no remembrance of the children of Ammon.τοὺς υἱοὺς Κεδὲμ ἑπὶ τοὺς υἱοὺς Ἀμμὼν δέδωκα αὐτῷ εἰς κληρονομίαν, ὅπως μὴ μνεία γένηται τῶν υἱῶν Ἀμμών.

11And I will execute vengeance on Moab; and they shall know that I am the Lord.Καὶ εἰς Μωὰβ ποιήσω ἐκδίκησιν, καὶ ἐπιγνώσονται διότι ἐγὼ Κύριος.

12Thus says the Lord; Because of what the Idumeans have done in taking vengeance on the house of Juda, and because they have remembered injuries, and have exacted full recompense;Τάδε λέγει Κύριος, ἀνθʼ ὧν ἐποίησεν ἡ Ἰδουμαία ἐν τῷ ἐκδικῆσαι αὐτοὺς ἐκδίκησιν εἰς τὸν οἶκον Ἰούδα, καὶ ἐμνησικάκησαν, καὶ ἐξεδίκησαν δίκην,

13therefore thus says the Lord; I will also stretch out my hand upon Idumea, and will utterly destroy out of it man and beast; and will make it desolate; and they that are pursued out of Thaeman shall fall by the sword.διατοῦτο τάδε λέγει Κύριος, καὶ ἐκτενῶ τὴν χεῖρά μου ἐπὶ τὴν Ἰδουμαίαν, καὶ ἐξολοθρεύσω ἐξ αὐτῆς ἄνθρωπον καὶ κτῆνος, καὶ θήσομαι αὐτὴν ἔρημον, καὶ ἐκ Θαιμὰν διωκόμενοι ἐν ῥομφαίᾳ πεσοῦνται.

14And I will execute my vengeance on Idumea by the hand of my people Israel: and they shall deal in Idumea according to my anger and according to my wrath, and they shall know my vengeance, says the Lord.Καὶ δώσω ἐκδίκησίν μου ἐπὶ τὴν Ἰδουμαίαν ἐν χειρὶ λαοῦ μου Ἰσραὴλ, καὶ ποιήσουσιν ἐν τῇ Ἰδουμαίᾳ κατὰ τὴν ὀργήν μου καὶ κατὰ τὸν θυμόν μου, καὶ ἐπιγνώσονται τὴν ἐκδίκησίν μου, λέγει Κύριος.

15Therefore thus says the Lord, Because the Philistines have wrought revengefully, and raised up vengeance rejoicing from their heart to destroy the Israelites to a man;Διατοῦτο τάδε λέγει Κύριος, ἀνθʼ ὧν ἐποίησαν οἱ ἀλλόφυλοι ἐν ἐκδικήσει, καὶ ἐξανέστησαν ἐκδίκησιν ἐπιχαίροντες ἐκ ψυχῆς, τοῦ ἐξαλεῖψαι ἕως ἑνὸς,

16therefore thus says the Lord; Behold, I will stretch out my hand upon the Philistines, and will utterly destroy the Cretans, and will cut off the remnant that dwell by the sea-coast.διατοῦτο τάδε λέγει Κύριος, ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἐκτείνω τὴν χεῖρά μου ἐπὶ τοὺς ἀλλοφύλους, καὶ ἐξολοθρεύσω Κρῆτας, καὶ ἀπολῶ τοὺς καταλοίπους τοὺς κατοικοῦντας τὴν παραλίαν·

17And I will execute great vengeance upon them; and they shall know that I am the Lord, when I have brought my vengeance upon them.Καὶ ποιήσω ἐν αὐτοῖς ἐκδικήσεις μεγάλας, καὶ ἐπιγνώσονται διότι ἐγὼ Κύριος, ἐν τῷ δοῦναι τὴν ἐκδίκησίν μου ἐπʼ αὐτούς.
