Second Epistle to the Corinthians

- Paul's letter of thirteen chapters. After the first epistle he sent Titus to Corinth to learn its effect and to collect alms for poor Palestinian Christians. Titus reported that the letter had been received reverently and that conduct was improving, but also that Paul's delay in coming had given false teachers occasion to accuse him of cowardice and instability in both his promises and his doctrine.
