Benaiah

(God builds, raises up) — the name of the following persons: a) (Ezek. 11:1–13) father of Pelatiah, one of the princes of the people, in the days of the prophet Ezekiel; b) (Ezra 10:35) one of the Israelites who married foreign wives after the return from captivity; c) (Ezra 10:43) of the sons of Nebo, who likewise had a foreign wife.
