Pelatiah

or Paltiah (God delivers; God is deliverer) (Ezek. 11:1–13)—son of Benaiah, a prince of the people whom Ezekiel saw in a vision standing with twenty-four others at the eastern gate of the temple. They gave the people wicked counsel not to believe the words of God spoken by the prophet. Pelatiah died while Ezekiel was pronouncing his terrible prophecy against those who had incited the people to rebellion against the Lord.
