Naioth
Archimandrite Nikifor’s Biblical Encyclopedia
(1 Chron. 19:18, 19, 20:1) (dwelling, habitation)—a place near the city of Ramah, where at one time the prophet Samuel and David dwelt. Here, it seems, there was a school of the prophets, thought to have been located at Nebi Samwil, several English miles northwest of Jerusalem, but traces of this place have not yet been discovered.
