(whom God helps) — the name of the following persons: a) (1 Chron. 12:6) one of the mighty men who went over to David at Ziklag; b) (1 Chron. 25:18) one of those appointed under David to be among the singers; c) (1 Chron. 27:22) son of Jeroham, chief of the tribe of Dan, one of the princes of Israel; d) (Neh. 11:13) father of Amashsai, one of the outstanding men chosen by lot to live in Jerusalem after the captivity; e) (Neh. 12:36) one of the priestly sons present at the dedication of the wall of Jerusalem; f) (Ezra 10:41) one of those who had foreign wives.
