Gold of Parvaim Pharuim

(2 Chron. 3:6). The name and meaning of the region from which Solomon obtained gold for the building of the temple have never been determined with certainty. Some identify Parvaim with Sepharvaim on the Euphrates; others with Sephar in southern Arabia. The source regards it as most probably one of the Indian colonies in Arabia.
