(enclosed place, settlement) — the name of two cities: a) (Josh. 15:25) this is another name for the city of Hezron, on the border of the tribe of Judah in Edom; b) (Neh. 11:33) one of the cities occupied by the Benjamites after their return from the Babylonian captivity. It may be supposed that it lay to the north of Jerusalem, at no great distance from it.
