(height) (1 Kings 21:1, 2 Kings 9:26)—a devout Israelite of Jezreel, who would not sell to Ahab his vineyard adjoining the king’s palace, and for this, at the instigation of Jezebel, was publicly slandered as guilty of blasphemy and treason and stoned to death.
