(level, smooth) (2 Sam. 6:6)—the ancient name of the threshing floor where Uzzah was struck down during the procession of the Ark, on the way from Kiriath-jearim to Jerusalem, on which occasion David called this threshing floor Perez-uzzah. Its location is unknown, but it probably lay a short distance west of Jerusalem.
