Skin eruption

(Lev 13:6-8) - a rash appearing as scab or crust upon the body and often disappearing by itself after a time. It ordinarily requires no special remedy beyond removal of its cause and bodily cleanliness. The Mosaic law did not count such cases unclean; but if the eruption persisted and spread over the body, producing chronic scurf or mange, a priest so afflicted was considered unfit to officiate, and an animal with it could not be offered to God.
