Archimandrite Nikifor’s Biblical Encyclopedia

(increasing) (Philem. 1:2) — a Christian woman of Colossae, considered the wife of Philemon. From the apostle’s epistle it appears that they had a house church and were distinguished for hospitality and love toward the saints. She died a martyr together with Philemon in Colossae, in the reign of Nero. Their memory is February 19 and November 22.
