(help, deliverance of God) — the name of two persons: a) (Neh. 12:32) one of those present at the celebration of the dedication of the city wall, upon its restoration by Nehemiah and Zerubbabel; b) (Jer. 42:1) father of Jezaniah, who came, among others, to the prophet Jeremiah after the destruction of Jerusalem, with the request that he pray to the Lord God for them.
