True God and true man.

Archimandrite Nikifor’s Biblical Encyclopedia

The New Testament gives Jesus divine names, attributes, works, and worship. He is called God and Lord; Scripture ascribes to Him preexistence, eternity, knowledge, sovereign power, the creation and preservation of all things, authority to forgive sins, resurrection, and judgment (John 1:1–3; 8:58; 20:28; Rom. 9:5; Col. 1:15–20; Heb. 1:1–12). John applies Isaiah’s vision of the LORD’s glory to Christ (Isa. 6:1–10; John 12:37–41), and Revelation depicts all creation worshiping the Lamb (Rev. 5:9–14).
