Chrysolite

(golden stone; Exod. 28:20; 39:13; Rev. 21:20)—a precious stone named in the fourth row of the high priest’s breastpiece and as the seventh foundation of the wall of the New Jerusalem. Ancient gemstone names do not always correspond exactly to modern mineral classifications; many translations associate the biblical stone with yellow-green olivine or peridot.
