Chun

(1 Chr 18:8; called Berothai in 2 Sam 8:8) - a city of Hadadezer king of Zobah. David took much bronze from it, which Solomon afterward used for the bronze sea, lavers, pillars, and temple vessels. Fürst connected the name Chun with Saturn and supposed that the city was named either because Saturn was regarded as its founder or because the deity was worshiped there.
