Keturah

Archimandrite Nikifor’s Biblical Encyclopedia

(incense; Gen. 25:1–6; 1 Chron. 1:32)—a wife or concubine of Abraham after Sarah, and the mother of Zimran, Jokshan, Medan, Midian, Ishbak, and Shuah. Abraham gave gifts to the sons of his concubines and sent them eastward, while giving his principal inheritance to Isaac. A later Jewish tradition identified Keturah with Hagar, but Genesis does not make that identification.
