Archimandrite Nikifor’s Biblical Encyclopedia

(breadth, freedom): a) (Gen 10:30) a place mentioned in the cited passage, in the description of the boundaries of the settlements of the sons of Joktan. “Their dwelling was from Mesha, as thou goest unto Sephar, a mount of the east,” says the sacred writer. Its location, however, remains unclear to this day.
