(Acts 13:14) — the name of a city in the province of Pisidia, in Asia Minor, also built by Seleucus. Here the apostles Paul and Barnabas preached. In the Book of Acts is recorded an extensive and especially forceful sermon of the Apostle Paul, delivered by him in one of the synagogues of this city (Acts 13:16–41), on a Sabbath day.
