Hadoram

Archimandrite Nikifor’s Biblical Encyclopedia

(Hadar is high) (Gen. 10:27; 1 Chron. 1:21) — fifth son of Joktan, son of Eber. The dwelling-place of his descendants has not been precisely determined, although it is placed in southern, or Arabia Felix, below Mecca. The descendants of Hadoram are held to be the Adramites of Ptolemy and the Atramitae of Pliny.
