Nekoda

Archimandrite Nikifor’s Biblical Encyclopedia

(marked) (1 Ezra 2:48, Neh. 7:50, 62)—the sons of Nekoda are spoken of twice in the books of Ezra and Nehemiah. In the first instance they are mentioned in the list of the Nethinim who accompanied Zerubbabel from Babylon, and then among those persons who came from Tel-melah and other places, but could not show their fathers’ house nor their lineage, whether they were of Israel, or prove that they truly belonged to the chosen people.

Scripture cited

Nehemiah 7:50
