(2) (2 Chron. 13:2) a man of Gibeah whose daughter Micaiah was the mother of Abijah; the parallel notice in 2 Chronicles 11:20 uses the names Maacah and Absalom, probably reflecting alternate names or kinship terminology rather than a simple solution. (3) (2 Esdras 4:1 and elsewhere) the angel sent to instruct Ezra concerning hidden divine purposes. See Angel.
