Bileam Jemblaan

(foreigner) (1 Chron. 6:70) — a city in the half-tribe of Manasseh, on the other side of the Jordan, given together with other cities and their surrounding lands to the Levites, descendants of Kohath; it is also called, evidently by a simple transposition of letters, Ibleam (Josh. 17:11). It is thought that this is the same city called Gath-rimmon in the Book of Joshua (21:25).
