(3) (1 Chron. 11:43) a son of Maacah and one of David’s warriors. (4) (Ezra 2:46; Neh. 7:49) an ancestor of Temple servants. (5) (Neh. 8:7) a Levite who helped the people understand the Law; First Esdras has a variant form. (6) (Neh. 10:10) a Levite who sealed the covenant. (7) (Neh. 10:22, 26) the name of one or more leaders who sealed the covenant. (8) (Neh. 13:13) a son of Zaccur appointed to help distribute the stored offerings.
