Jozadak Josedec
Archimandrite Nikifor’s Biblical Encyclopedia
(the LORD is righteous) (1 Chr 6:14 and elsewhere) - son of the high priest Seraiah, who was put to death by Nebuchadnezzar at Riblah during Zedekiah's reign (2 Kgs 25:18, 21). Jozadak himself was never high priest, but lived and probably died in the Babylonian captivity. His son Jeshua, however, led the Jews with Zerubbabel when they returned from captivity (Hag 1:1, 12, 14; 2:2, 4), helped build the altar (Ezra 3:2) and restore the Jerusalem temple (v. 8), and became high priest (Zech 6:11).
