Jupiter; Zeus

(Acts 14:12)—the chief deity of ancient Greek and Roman religion: Zeus to the Greeks and Jupiter to the Romans. Myth made him a son of Cronus or Saturn and Rhea, ruler of sky and earth, thunder and lightning, winds and rain. Poseidon or Neptune received the sea, Hades or Pluto the underworld, while Zeus ruled the heavens from Olympus. Temples and altars were dedicated to him, and the Olympic games were celebrated in his honor. He was commonly portrayed enthroned as a king with the thunderbolt; the eagle was sacred to him.
