(the LORD heals)—the name of five persons: (1) (1 Chron. 3:21) an Israelite whose descendants appear in the genealogy of 1 Chronicles; (2) (1 Chron. 4:42–43) a Simeonite leader among the five hundred who attacked the Amalekites at Mount Seir in Hezekiah’s reign and occupied their territory; (3) (1 Chron. 7:2) a son of Tola of Issachar and a chief of his generation; (4) (1 Chron. 9:43) a descendant of Jonathan son of Saul, whose father was Binea; and (5) (Neh. 3:9) son of Hur, ruler of half the district of Jerusalem, who helped repair the city’s fortifications.
